From the first restoration of the Parthenon at the end of the 19th century, to 21st century Mecca and China, Μοschous is involved in large-scale and exciting projects supplying marble and know-how.
The Moschous family has estasblished a long and proud tradition in the marble trade that dates back to the end of the 19th century.
One of the oldest marble traders in Greece, from 1894 until 1939, we took part in and supplied marble for the first Pendelikon marble restoration of the Parthenon. We also participated in the construction of the Panathinaikon Stadium.
Known as the Kallimarmaron, meaning "beautifully marbled", it is the stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held in Athens in 1896.
We have dealt with diligence, integrity and professionalism for four generations. Hard work and dedication to quality have always been the paramount factors that have established us and continue to define our practice in the 21st century.
Nearly all our production is globally exported due to its excellent international reputation.
We undertake large-scale projects around the world, supplying marble for the construction of hotels, offices, luxury estates, shrines and a variety of projects in India, China, the USA, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Brazil, Europe and elsewhere.

We are one of the biggest producers of Thassos snow white in Greece, extracting top-quality marble from our quarry on the island of Thassos.
Moschous production mounts to 8,000³m or 400,000²m annually.
After extraction, the stone blocks are either exported as they are or transported to our factories in Athens for further processing.
MOSCHOUS THASSOS SNOW WHITE POLISHED QUALITY CLASSIFICATION
At our factories in Inofita and Perissos in Athens, the marble blocks are processed into semi-finished slabs and tiles.
Slabs are cut in 2 and 3cm thickness.
Tiles are cut into the following sizes: 62x62cm, 40x40cm, 30x60cm, 30x30cm. Special sizes can be produced according to client requirements.

Perfectly flawless snow white material polished to perfection.
Perfect snow white colour with no shadows and no colour. One or two tiny pin holes are sealed to achieve flawlessness.
Snow white colour with possible slight transparent crystals and very minor surface defects that are sealed and invisible to the eye.
Snow white colour with possible transparent crystals and small surface defects such as pin holes and small cracks that are perfectly sealed and practically invisible to the eye. Slight shadow possible on the edge of the slab.
Snow white colour with slight shadows, possible veins and bigger surface defects that are sealed and polished.
Snow white background with shadows, grey veins and large surface defects such as holes and cracks that are sealed but visible.
